Late 2008, Jaime and Elodie decided to start a new adventure, its name was DOIY. Since the beginning, DOIY is all about illusion, dreams, creativity, freedom and happiness. It was the reason why it was born and it is the reason that makes us grow. The original concept of DOIY was based on what we called the new democratic design. The idea was to democratize design, not only through affordable prices but also trough the participation of the user. From here comes the name DOIY, inspired by the expression DO It Yourself. During several months, we were visiting our favorite shops in Barcelona, with our shabby trolley, introducing our first product, the Adhesive Magnet Sheets. It was immediately very well received by the Barcelona design industry which led us to extend the brand abroad very quickly.
Over time, our concept has evolved and broadened. We have gained the reputation of being the design corner in the gift industry at surprisingly affordable prices. We mainly focus on creating original objects with a neat and poetical design, and still have several items inspired by the idea of interaction. Now, after 3 years, DOIY is present in over 30 countries all over the world. You can find our products online but also in museums shops, gifts shops, concept stores, bookstores or interior design shops.
